Steel: Vtoku 2 core Stainless Cladding (sourced through blade gallery)
RC Hardness approx. 63-64
Blade Geometry: Shallow fullers ground on both sides to reduce stiction. Blade face convex ground to zero - finished on 400 grit stone and stropped. Full distal taper with spine and choil chamferred.
.125 at the thickest by 2.22” at the heel by 9.82” blade length.
@4.7 oz this blade will balance well with a dense handle material like rosewood or blackwood.
Blade has been cold forged to develop a pattern and satin finished to 600 grit. Brief etch has been applied to show the core steel.
Asking $550 + shipping. I can make a handle to your spec. at additional cost. (approx. $150 depending on materials)
