Adventure BEAST in 26C3 Carbon Steel

$300.00

I have a new pattern here. I've made a bunch of these with a 4" blade length - now I am expanding the design into something more like a "survival" knife.

The steel is Swedish 26C3 , heat treated to rc62-64. The guard is copper with a couple peened copper pins and micarta lanyard tube.

The handle scales are Viet Rosewood and black g10 liners.

The geometry makes use of a scandi grind along with fullers on both sides of the blade.

The belly leading into the tip has about .020" behind the edge.

No distal taper on this one. I convexed the last 3/4" of the blade into a nice strong point.

I got a nice "base coat" patina started. As soon as you pick the blade up your eyes are gonna search for something to chop.

Before shipping I will put a slight micro bevel on it.

OAL is just under 11-1/2"
Blade length is 5-7/8"
Thickness is just under 1/8"
Blade is 1.9" wide at the thumb ramp
Guard is 2" wide
