I was introduced to knife making by John Buzowski about 1994 in Cranbury, NJ. I would spend a couple hours on Sunday evenings with John learning to make my first knife. My father would also bring me to the knife shows in NYC. I got advice and encouragement from many great knife makers at these shows and began to gather tools of my own. I ended up graduating HS with some AP credits in the fine arts and was admitted into the School of American Craft at RIT in Rochester, NY. My major was to be metal work and jewelry design. After one year I decided not to return and instead work in MA. I have been here in central MA ever since and now pursue my creative ambitions as a part time knife maker.
